Overactive Bladder (OAB) Clinical Trials

Accumed Research Associates is now recruiting patients for a phase 3 clinical study for overactive bladder with urinary urgency incontinence that have failed conventional medications and therapy for this condition either because it did not resolve their symptoms enough or they can not tolerate the side effects of the medicines used to treat this condition.  The goal of this study is to see if Botox given every 3-6 months will improve the incontinence and urinary symptoms of an overactive bladder.

Qualified participants may receive study medication for up to 2 ½ years if so desired and study related care at no cost.  This will include:

• an evaluation by a board certified urologist, lab work, EKG, ultrasound of kidney and bladder and urine testing.  Patients will also be compensated for their time.

Patients that have this condition have common symptoms that may include:

• frequent urination and urinary urgency with an inability to postpone urination and resultant urinary leakage
